Sunrise


Immediately, uncertain.
It does not know it is.
It would know if it was,
through experience.
The feeling would be identified;
The feeling was given a name before,
Before the name a feeling was taken as being.


First, warmth,
An internal sunrise.
The inclination of It's muscles.
From one to another, louder feelings.
From itself to another, otherness, alternatives.

The question creates doubt.
Where there was no question,
There was no doubt.
Now aware of an absent answer,
An argument of the question.

It rolls through recent time.
Comparable only to immediate present,
A question of doubt for the future.
Actions surmised, for or against the argument;
Actions from before questions,
Actions from before doubt.
More pure are the actions not born of questions.

More clean the actions committed unthinking.
And now, to say in the past it was that same feeling...
It inclined when question walked in.
It simmered to see question.
A loud feeling when question spoke.
To say it must be the same feeling again,
It certainly must be.
